The Inherent Problem with The Fraser Rankings

So the Fraser Report Card is an invaluable resource for parents - we all know that - and for Catholic schools in Mississauga, we have no problem with them.

But for PUBLIC elementary schools in Mississauga, it's a different story. The Fraser Institute only grades elementary schools that go at least up until Grade 6. (Because of the EQAO's Grade 3 AND Grade 6 testing.)

But TWO-THIRDS of Mississauga's public elementary schools ONLY go up until GRADE 5! So, they don't rank them, at all.

And that's why, if you see any other "Top-Ranked" Mississauga public schools list from anybody else, IGNORE IT. It is useless to you.

My rankings are based on 5-year PERSONAL research I have done on the EQAO tests, PLUS rankings from the CD Howe Institute, PLUS I take into consideration the rankings from the one-third of Mississauga public elementary schools the Fraser Institute actually ranks.

So what I'm saying is, quite bluntly, my rankings are the ONLY rankings you should be considering, as parents.
